Sage ERP X3 Customers Connect at Annual ConferencePittsburgh, PA - November 14, 2007
Sage hosted its fifth annual North American Sage ERP X3 User Conference in Pittsburgh, PA on November 8-9, 2007. Sage ERP X3 users and business partners from the U.S. and Canada attended the event, which provided a forum for sharing implementation experiences and learning about the latest release of Sage ERP X3.
Sage ERP X3 executive Alex Attal opened the conference by highlighting the fiscal year end 2007 activity and providing insight into the Sage ERP X3 growth strategy for the U.S. and worldwide.
Emmanuel Obadia, Sage Executive VP for Enterprise Products, discussed the current Web 2.0 trends and how Sage is incorporating them into the Sage ERP X3, while product architect Dominique Bopp highlighted the new features of Sage ERP X3 v5.
Two Sage ERP X3 customers conducted presentations on their Sage Xtend implementations. Teresa Wahlroos of Satellite Industries demonstrated the company’s use of Xtend as a B2B e-commerce site, and Bruce Emrick of Garland Industries showed how the company is utilizing the Xtend technology to link their large, remote sales force to their Sage ERP X3 system.
Luis Solano of Sage ERP X3 business partner Trivalent Solutions conducted a breakout session about how his company assisted Sage ERP X3 customer UreSil with their business process improvement (BPI) project. Additional Sage ERP X3 breakout sessions focused on business intelligence tools, establishing an effective traceability system and managing a secure remote workforce, while Bernie Murciano, of 123EDI, led a session on understanding electronic data interchange (EDI).
