Mid-Sized Distributors and Manufacturers Gaining Multi-Site Efficiencies with Sage ERP X3Pittsburgh, PA – April 20, 2009 – Sage North America is bolstering its North American ERP mid-market presence with a healthy string of new Sage ERP X3 customers. Sage ERP X3 is a fully integrated enterprise solution that addresses the advanced business requirements of larger mid-market distributors and manufacturers that do business internationally. The product already is distributed in more than 35 countries, supporting multiple locations, languages and currencies, and became part of Sage North America in 2008. The move gives customers in the upper mid-market a more robust ERP solution built to handle the complexities of a global economy. The growing number of new customers indicates business owners are embracing the advanced capabilities, performance, and ease of use offered by Sage ERP X3.

Among the growing list of new Sage ERP X3 customers is Yakima Chief, a Sunnyside, WA-based hops processor, which processes five percent of the world’s supply of hops for the beer brewing industry. Supporting multiple sites in multiple countries, Sage ERP X3 will be used to run manufacturing and distribution operations from its Sunnyside headquarters, plus sales and distribution offices in Belgium and Hong Kong.

Beautifull Foods – Emeryville, CA-based Beautifull Foods provides the San Francisco Bay Area with tasty, healthy and convenient prepared food that is fresh, natural and whole. Founded in 2007, the company selected Sage ERP X3 for its process manufacturing strengths, including forward and backward lot traceability, a full audit trail and fully integrated quality control processes.
Peanut Butter and Co. – Headquartered in New York City and specializing in the sale and distribution of all natural peanut butter and other specialty food products, Peanut Butter & Co. selected Sage ERP X3 to help manage their growth.
Shocking Technologies – Based in San Jose, CA, Shocking Technologies develops revolutionary Voltage Switchable Dielectric™ materials that protect semiconductor devices and electronic systems such as cell phones and other handheld devices from harmful electrostatic discharge (ESD). The company selected Sage ERP X3 for its process manufacturing capabilities and scalability for the company’s anticipated growth.
Theragenics – A publicly held medical device manufacturer headquartered in Buford, GA with 2008 revenues of $67.4 million, the company plans to install Sage ERP X3 for 70 users in its multi-company structure, including four manufacturing plants.
